After 3 weeks in primary and 5 in bottles I'm resigned to the realization that my first baby is ugly. Its pretty harsh with bitterness and alcohol aftertaste.
However, I left beer 2 in primary for 27 days, and after a week in the bottle I chilled and opened one... It is flippin awesome. I will probably drink the whole batch before it is aged. I nailed the name, "Smiley Face American Brown." Batch 3 is in primary, EdWorts's Haus Pale Ale, and a box of ingredients for an oatmeal stout just arrived. Hopelessly hooked on this hobby.
