So here's the issue...
I bought a Belgian Tripel extract kit that came with the normal beet sugar. The stuff I was given is 1.032 PPG and 16 oz. The plan is to flavor the beer with Thai ginger syrup. The ginger syrup I got to flavor the beer is the same weight and ppg as the stuff provided by the kit. My question is, should I swap the beet syrup for the ginger syrup or just add both? I THINK if I add both it will increase the APV but also confuse the taste profile. I'm all for a good stiff beer but I'd like to make a beer that's also a pleasure to drink.
