I am wondering if anyone has tried to brew a Cacao Bender clone? It is not a beer that is ever available in the store and I have only had it at SurlyFest a couple of times. It would be great to be able to brew up a batch as I remember it being one of the best coffee/chocolate beers I have had.
I have seen recipes for Bender that just add coffee, vanilla, and cacao nibs. BUT looking at the Surly website both Bender and Coffee Bender use Columbus and Willette, while Cacao Bender uses Warrior. For that reason I thought I would see if anyone has successfully made a Cacao Bender clone?
