Fellow HBTers,

A friend of mine started a forum called Sundance Farm (http://sundancefarm.freeforums.net/). It's basically an information exchange for organic farming, sustainability, and alternative lifestyles. I'm heading up "research" on farming hops, barley, and herbs for brewing over there, and I would like to have some fellow homebrewers join in the discussion.

Also, if you have any interest in the aforementioned activities, feel free to head on over and start an account. Our primary geographical base of operations is Stephenville, TX. My screen name is Gruesome.

Hope to see y'all over there! :ban:

Signed up.

I have an interest in gardening and need some help with soil conditioning. We have just been living in this cabin for about 4 years, and made a garden spot that I tried out for the first time last summer with mixed results. I hope your new forum takes off!

Speaking of Stephenville...been over to the Hard 8 lately? We used to make trips over there when we lived in East TX. It remains my favorite BBQ, ever.

good luck and be well.

I've had some success with small-scale gardening (raised beds and whatnot) at my house. I'll start a gardening thread over there and you can throw out questions or whatever..

Haven't been to Hard 8 in a while! The owner passed away not too long ago.. not sure how that has affected their business..

I don't see any Alternative Lifestyle stuff like I'm used to....

What would you like to see? I'd be more than happy to start some boards/threads for your interests. Perhaps alternative lifestyle is a little ambiguous. Basically, we are interested in having researching for a small sustainable community.. semi-off-the-grid kinda stuff..
