Anyone ever have a sulfur like smell come off there beer while its fermenting? I noticed a slight eggy smell. Hopefully it dissipates.

Yes it happens. Sulfur is often a byproduct of fermentation. Some yeasts throw off more than others. If it’s slight, let the beer age in the fermenter until the smell is gone so you don‘t package it into the finished beer.

What yeast? I’ve had some wicked stanky ones, especially a recent Belgian yeast. Advice I’ve seen is to not bottle/keg until the sulfur subsides or it won’t clear and will end up in the finished beer. My recent one died down after 1.5 eggy weeks. I bottled after 2 weeks and it is now sublime in the glass :)

Yep, it is normal. I converted a double door fridge into a temp controlled fermentation/storage unit where I ferment my beer, it smells like egg quite often when opened depending on the beer I make and the yeast I use. How long has it been fermenting for?
