Hi, I am a relative newbie to wine making and currently just making wine from kits.
I am finding that the wine made from some kits has a strong sulfite pong which is not pleasant. The wine otherwise tastes fine. The only sulfites that I am knowingly adding are in the pack of stabiliser that comes with the kit. Has anyone else had this problem or have a solution ? Does anyone have a recommendation for the right amount of sorbate and metabisulfite to add to a 30 bottle kit ?
