I'm brewing a cheap grain kit IPA from AHS. Everything looked good until it started fermenting, then there was lots of sediment on the bottom and lots of globs of stuff floating up and down the fermenter. its died down slightly on the second day. this is only my 3rd brew and my first grain kit, so im not sure if this is normal or not. this is the yeast that was used: Wyeast American Ale 1056. I was wondering if this is harmful to the beer and if it will have an effect on the final result? this is also the first time i used a whirlfloc tablet, could that be the cause?
