I’m building a controller and am stuck on something that should be so simple... thermostat [emoji45]. I’m using EZBoil[emoji768] DSPR320 controller and CrocSee RTD Pt100 Temperature Sensor Probe from amazon. I have the single red wire connected to terminal 5 and the two blue wires on 4 and 3. The room temperature is around 60F degrees and the probes are reading -22F degrees. I have 4 thermos and 2 controllers and they all read the same so it has to be a setting somewhere. Thanks in advance for any info or help y’all can offer

I don't see any temp probe connections in your photos. Older pics?

IIRC, the EZBoils only work with PT100 sensors, so there is no "sensor type" setting. I suggest testing the wiring on your RTD's to insure they are wired as expected. If you measure the resistance between the two blue terminals, it should be very close to 0. Measuring either blue to red should read about 100 ohms. If you get any other readings, there is something amiss with your probes. If this is the case, post your readings here, and maybe we can help.

Brew on :mug:

Ahhhh ok its reading 100 resistance across the blue wires and 1000 red to blue... I’m assuming they sent me P1000 and not P100 temperature probes.

Ok so I ordered 3 new Auber pt100 temp probes with cables and connections. I’m getting the same -22F reading. I’ve went through the manual 100 times and can’t find any reference to a probe setting...

Have you called Auber direct? Their customer service has been great to me!

Got the fedex delivery, wired one up then called @ 5:02.... they close @ 5:00..‍♂️ I’ll call first thing tomorrow. I have a Auber SYL-2362 for a mash temp/timer and it works just fine with both sets of probes.

Update: called Auber this morning, I bought the controllers last year and it’s taken me this long to build my controller and power them up. They sent me a pre paid return label and will swap them out for new ones at no charge. Can’t ask for better customer service than that.
