Strange scoby behavior

My scoby looks way different than previous batches. It's more like a sad little jelly fish rather than a healthy looking raft. Now it has a new whiteish growth developing.

Can anyone weigh in if this is ok or if I need to start over?

Looks OK. If it smells and tastes normal, you're good to go.
