stouts and brew tabs

How many brew tabs would you use on a stout in a 12 ounce bottle? Im using brewest best conditioning tabs.. I have brewing experience but wanted to try tabs once.

Don't use too many. I had a friend use 4 tabs per bottle in a beer of his and it foams out of the bottle for a good halfway down the bottle. I would try a max of two.

After doing it my friend is really thinking of just going to pure priming sugar.
