Yes again. Malic acid, though sour, hasn't seemed to hurt any of my batches either.

FACJ is a cheap sorbate free option, too. Or Musselman’s at Walmart when it’s on sale.

I've made many gallons from store bought juice with ascorbic acid. No problems.
