Still bubbling

Brewed a Irish red ale last Monday. Been watching it and it stopped bubbling yesterday. Went to keg it and it started to bubble again. Can I keg it anyways?it bubbles about once every 20 sec

You take a gravity reading at all?

Start was 1.050 but no not yet afraid I'll expose it

It's a small risk but it's the only way to know for sure. But I'd bet if you started at 1.05 and it's been over a week your getting close. But 8 days for a mid range gravity like that isn't enough in my opinion.

I never check FG either for the Same reason your not. But I always go longer than it should take. Usually I figure 2 weeks at proper ferm temps will get me to the proper FG.

Though my method probably isn't good for all beer styles, I find it works well for pales and ambers and the like.

Last Monday as in eight or nine days ago, right? Should probably be done or pretty close, but some beers take longer to finish. If the temperature has increased, there's a good chance it's just off-gassing CO2 from fermentation, but unless you really need to start drinking this beer soon, I'd suggest waiting until the two week point to have a little more certainty.

An FG reading would help, too.

How much did you move the fermenter as you were preparing to keg it? I've had a couple of beers hold on to a good amount of dissolved CO2. In fact, the last pale ale i did, looked almost like I had just poured it from the keg with all the bubbles going on in my gravity sample and that had been in primary for 3 weeks.

there is no harm in letting it sit a little bit longer, but I wouldn't be surprised if what you are seeing is off gassing of the CO2 in solution and not a kick start to more fermentation. Most of my beers I can get the airlock to bubble again if I give the bucket a good jostle.
