Hi guys,

I just received some ball lock kegs that have stickers on the outside of them, and I wanted to reach out and see if anyone had any tried and tested methods for removing them.

I was just going to submerge them in oxy-clean for a day or two and then use a brillo pad/steel wool to remove them. Any suggestions would be welcomed!

Thanks :mug:

I used a heat gun to dry the glue up on them and then just scrapped them off. Then went over the outside of the keg with Barkeeps Friend to shine it up some.

Heat gun would be my first choice if I had one. Razor second.

Both followed up with some Goo Gone or Goof Off, or whatever similar product you like.

Then run all over that sucker with a 4" polisher and some SS polish! BOOYAH!

Easiest is to fill them with very hot water. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes. The hot water will soften the adhesive. Peel them right off. Any residue still left can be removed with bkf (bar keepers friend)

Green scotch brite pad and some elbow grease...

Check your local walmart for the elbow grease... :)

when I go to clean the insides i fill em up with hot water and oxyclean. The hot water will loosen up the stickers, then I usually use goo gone and an sos pad

I use a little wall paper steamer with a nozzle attatchment, they peel right off. Then a little goof off, voila!
