Are specialty grains steeped in the boil kettle prior to the boil or in a seperate vessel and added to the kettle?
However you want to do it, as long as you get the grains out prior to boiling. I do them in a separate pot and strain into my brew kettle, but many put them in a grain bag and steep them right in the brew pot.PanzerOfDoom said:Are specialty grains steeped in the boil kettle prior to the boil or in a seperate vessel and added to the kettle?
