Stc1000 error

Hi all, can you give me some insight on this error code? My controller was working fine for about a month and I just went to check in on my latest batch to discover my best freezer was cold and the heating element wasn't operational at all. I'm not positive but think that means spend another $20 bucks..... maybe some other fellas know better though.

That's what I'd do. I run three of those units at a time (Ferm chamber, lagering freezer and keezer). I had the one on the keezer go kaflooey about a year ago. I just ordered another for $18 shipped and had it two days later thanks to Amazon Prime.

Bummer. It worked for like month. I don't mind spending $20 here or there, but I hope I just got a bum unit. Constantly replacing things isn't right, especially electrical things.

You probably just got a bum unit. I've got a few stc's, and no issues yet. *knocks on wood*

My original stc is on my keezer. It's been on almost non-stop for almost 2 years!
