So im making a starter. Does it matter what kind of extract I use.

Im making a AG wheat beer and all i have for extract is extra light.

SHould I go pick up some wheat DME so I dont mess with the yeasts "memory"

Light DME will be fine. Just decant before pitching. Those yeasts can't remember anything except where their next meal is coming from.

I use extra light DME for all my starters.
