I made a yeast starter last night thinking I was going to brew today but now have to wait until the weekend. Can I start a new starter from my old yeast starty start start starter?

The starter you have already made will still be Ok at the weekend.

I would throw it in the fridge. On brewing day pull it out and let it warm up, then decant and pitch it.

I very often make a yeast starter the weekend before I brew.

Example:

Make 4.5L yeast starter on Saturday

On stir plate Saturday eve, Sunday and Monday until I get home from work.

The foil gets tightened around the top and I put it in the fridge.

When I start brewing on Saturday I pull it out of the fridge and decant off most of the liquid.

Pitch once the wort is transferred and chilled a few degrees below my target fermentation temp.
