So was trying to scrub the bottom of my kettle from the usual caked on spots above the elements and got lazy so just sprayed some starsan on and left it for a while.
A while turned into next day due to the above lazyness and I noticed that once it dried, you could just peel off the spots as it had gone all brittle and was left with a nice shiny kettle with barely any effort.
Tested it twice now and it seems to work really well and much easier than scrubbing!
 
Nice! I had a hell of a time getting it off last time. Will try this next time.
 
Wish you had posted this about a month ago,would have saved me a lot of elbow grease.🤦‍♂️
