This is not a good idea. Don't just go mixing things together if you don't know what you are doing. If you really want a DIY Starsan substitute just dilute phosphoric acid to pH 3 and soak your gear in it.

I thought that Starsan is just phosphoric acid with a little detergent in it so that it foams up.
