Well, this is obviously that if i say i using them, this wouldn’t be counted. But i am brewing 15 gallon batches with two of these elements. One 5500 watt for HLT and another 5500 watt for BK. I am recently switched from propane and saving about 4 - 5 hours now.
One element heats up 20 gallon hot liquor tank to 172 Fahrenheit for 34 minutes.
And then in brew kettle 17 gallons of wort from 162 to hard boiling in another 36 minutes.
These elements are so efficient, i am glad that I switched to electric brewing.
Also, we sold a lot of these elements on eBay for more money than offered on this forum.
So take advantage of the promo.

I have an element that LOOKS just like these. I'm happy with it. I found mine on ebay; I paid more than the $45 price tag CrazyFedot has here. I have a 15 gallon brew kettle with one of these. I can vouch that it will heat 15 gallons with ease.

I like the idea of being able to remove the cord, but is there a way to waterproof the connection? I'm just worried that the connection could get wet and cause a safety issue.

It is twist lock power plug connector, so i have no issues with water or wort spills right on to connection point, but it is not intended to be submerged.

Also if your electrical wiring done right, you shouldn’t have any problems at all. GFI breaker will disconnect power immediately

ConUS shipping is free for 2 or more elements in the same order, plus 5% discount will be applied for orders of 2 or more elements.
Sale ends May, 5 at 12:00 pm.

Cheaper than propane!
Yeah depending on your area. A 5 gallon brew day costs me around $1 in electricity if I am calculating it right. I know places like California have high electric costs but there are more bonuses to electric like no wasted energy, bigger and better boil, faster to get to strike temps, no more trips to refill propane tanks, and the best part is you can stay in the house. Sorry for the interruption you may resume your normal programming.
