Hello All,
I am wondering if I should replace my cheap SSRs for a better quality name brand. I have a source that has a few Crydoms 75 amp SSRs and I was wondering if up sizing this large for my pumps and heat elements would have any detrimental effects.

Cheers,
Todd

The higher amperage SSRs have lower resistance, which means they will not get as hot when ON, and consequently will likely last longer. (at least I believe that is true)

So there is a real benefit to using the higher amperage SSRs.
