SS Brew e-kettle

Hey Everyone, I've been looking at the SS e-kettle for a while. I already have a panel controller and element. Can anyone confirm if they use a standard tri-clamp fitting on the back? Could I just remove their Halo element and stick in a standard tri-clamp element in replacement?

Their halo element is 2 inches instead of the regular 1.5. Also, it’s not actually triclamp.

The halo slides in from inside out. There is a flat surface with a silicone gasket squeezed between the flat surfaces. It’s not grooved. There is a knurled washer that threads on from the outside.

Not sure my description really paints the picture. I can try to take pics if needed, but the short answer to your question is no.
