Spruce Tips.... hazy IPA? anyone experience?

I read about Spruce tips a while back. Forgot i ordered some 2 months ago on etsy (only place i could find). The guy told me needed a month to have them ready. Anyways i just received a lb of them frozen.

Thinking of doing a Hazy/NEIPA with Simcoe and Citra... i have a few other C hops. Not sure about recipes.

Thinking of throwing the spruce Tips at flame out and whirlpool at 185.

Any thoughts? No idea how much to add oz wise for Spruce tips.

My brew buddy wanted to do this, but I was strongly against it lol. Most things I've read say use them as hops. But I honestly have no idea how much flavor/aroma they will impart. I would probably go lighter than heavier and adjust accordingly for the next batch.

to each their own, I had a spruce tip IPA in Anchorage, Spruceplosion or something like that by 49th State Brewing, I didn't care for it.
