Are there any special considerations for using natural spring water for home brewing?

Generally no. Of course different brands will have different mineral compositions, but all should work fine for brewing. I use the store brand spring water for my brews since my tap water is full of chlorine. Just be sure to use spring water and not distilled - you need some minerals/salts in there

Thanks. I'm just getting started and trying to learn as much as possible before my first brew. I thought water would be an important ingredient (better water = better beer).

I would highly suggest How to Brew by J.J. Palmer or Joys of Homebrewing by Charlie Papazian(sp?). They both give a good description of water and its importance.
