So, I'm curious. I know a lot of brewers brew by seasons so what is everyone planning to have brewed for this spring?

Irish red for St. Patty's day for sure. I love to see a nice Irish Red. IPAs all year for the wife.

I am thinking a Belgian, A tequila beer, a Saison, an IPA, Pale ale, Pilsner, Lager of some kind, a stout or porter and maybe a barleywine. Of course that would be for next winter.

I brew what sounds good. I don't really stick to seasons.

I am also looking at SMaSH beers. I have a lot of hops that are getting old, and want to try some new ones.

I brewed a lot from September through December to make my 50th batch by 3rd anniversary. Currently taking a little break while I accumulate some more empties. I do have 2 lagers that I'll bottle in February-March. But I usually do an Irish Red and a Stout in February to be ready by the end of March. This year I might skip the Stout and do a Porter instead. Then later Spring I'll gear up for summer with a PA, a BM clone, and maybe a Caribou Slobber. I do rely on environmental temperatures(plus swamp coolers) so I might do another altbier before it gets warm. Love me some altbier! I usually quit for the summer by the end of May.

I brewed a citra wheat pale ale and put kumquats in the keg. It was a great beer. Im going to do the same this spring but maybe add a little rye to the grist. Maybe do Amarillo instead of citra too.

Just bottled a kolsch a few weeks ago, I'll be bottling a saison this week, and brewing an ipa in about 3 weeks. All are for my son's first birthday in May.

Anybody able to recommend a good irish red kit? I see Northern Brewer has a fairly good price on a 3 gallon BIAB kit but havent ordered it yet.

Right now I have a 3 gallon batch of my hopped saison cyser going and will be putting together some sort of red radish saison 1 gallon test batch tonight. I will be putting together another 3 or 6 gallon everyday ipa again as I had pretty positive feedback from the guy I scored a pound of hops from.

I'd like to get a batch of irish red going and maybe an orange witbier for me or a hard root beer for my wife to taste depending on how soon I can get my mead cleared and bottled.
