I got that book pinned as a save in Amazon but haven't pulled the trigger on it yet. From what I understand it's a good read.
Thanks for the tip, I have no doubts the book will be great. I've been following SpaceX from the beginning and it's the one thing I follow almost daily, HBT too. I'm in Florida at least twice a year and always get to see a launch or just to see one of the boosters come in to port. It never gets old!Liftoff is VERY good. It will give you a new appreciation of SpaceX, believe me.

I'd move in a heartbeat if I could convince my wife.I'm in Florida once a year. I stay for roughly 52 weeks. Hot in the summer, but I like the vibe.
Did you ever read Liftoff?
I especially like how it doesn’t gloss over the personal toll success took on the SpaceX staff.Liftoff is VERY good. It will give you a new appreciation of SpaceX, believe me.
Just purchased a copy, I should have it Saturday. Besides getting the book I hope there was a successful launch to make the day even better!I finally did, and thanks for the recommendation
I liked it, but wished it was longer and deeper...
Cheers!
Better for me, now I can sleep in tomorrow. Pizza day, made three for my daughters arrival, her favorite, mine too. Also kegged beer. Great day.Yup, now scheduled for 8 AM EST Saturday...

Gee, I hope that's not true. My daily viewing is on both Labpadre and NFS, both of are up and running this morning. Maybe the actual SpaceX feed will only be on X.
I do like the SpaceX feed for their commentary as it's folks who work there but sometimes it's tough watching all three for the best shots during a launch.
Time will tell I guess. We might have rely on the daily news feed between who is getting impeached, war bombings or someone in court.
We need a SpaceX channel.
Yep, double RUD. No landings. But that booster RUD was a bonus. Sploded into a nebulaWell that was wild! I guess the FTS on Starship kicked in...
Cheers!
I'm sure Elon will tweet a 1-week turnaround. But FAA reviews might add months delay.I hope it's a quick turnaround for ITF-3!
I think it looked pretty good. One of the launch sites put up a live camera of the pad aftermath and it looked just fine. I think the water deluge helped a lot.I love the shock wave that went thru the fog when they lit all 33 raptors. We haven't heard if the launch pad survived yet have we.
Either way, this launch was 100% better than the last one.
