Dear Braumeisters,

I'm running into the same problem over and over. I program the machine correctly (I think) and when it comes to the boil I watch the machine show 102C (and it's not near 102C) and then drop to something like 78C and slowly work it's way up to 102C, however the boil phase ends before it gets to temp.

Am I really suppose to stir the wort constantly to make sure the temperature sensor is accurate or am I making a mistake?

Background: I had a circuit professional installed.

Those sensors aren't the most accurate when it comes to temperature reading.. If you get a cheapo pump (like $19 from ebay) you can recirculate and the sensor won't read just the temperature of one small area of the wort anymore.

But, it seems strange, it should boil. But the pump is from what I know the first addon people with this kind of setup gets.
