Well I finally pulled the trigger on a seamer from Oktober Designs, they have a new model called the SP1 and it has a presale on now for $100 off so you can grab it for $779. I will post some more details when I get it.

I bought one too... I’ve been oogling Oktober canners for a long time... for $780 it finally fell into the impulse buy territory. Can’t wait to try it out. Love what this company is doing

Have you guys received the seamer yet?
Have you found a source for cans and tops?

How much do the cans cost?

Man I’m tempted. My kids don’t need to go to college.

From their Instagram feed, they should be starting to ship this week (aka the last week of November).

They sell cans and tops on their website as well. I haven't been able to find better pricing for blank cans unless you order an entire shipping container from China ;)

I received mine this week (my order was in the 80's if you are still waiting on yours)... very impressed with the ease of use and the build quality is fabulous. Ordered 12 and 16 oz cans along with it and I canned up a few 12 oz out of the tap to test it out. I wasn't super careful about overfilling the cans, so when I put the top on it pushed a lot of foam out and it slings beer everywhere. To counter that, I am making some Plexiglas extensions to wrap around the side and front and will be a little more cognizant about filling to the proper level. I'm planning on using a beergun so I can purge and fill the cans, so that may fix the overfill issue right there. Anyone else had a chance to run some cans?

The idea is interesting. But, it is still about $600 above what I would be willing to pay to package my beer. Plus, unless I am mistaken you cannot reuse the cans.......

In the market. Waiting to hear feedback from you guys. Let us know how you like them.

So far, no complaints. Packaged up a couple six packs with it so far. I went in on the seamer with a couple guys from our local club, so that helped defray the cost quite a bit.

So far so good! I've only done a handful of cans, but have talked with others who have done hundreds with no issues, just perfect seams.

Their cans are really expensive. $150 for 250 12oz cans delivered.

I've been looking for a better place to get them (price shipped to me is about $100)... unfortunately unless I want a few thousand cans on a pallet, I have been unable to find better pricing at reasonable quantities.
