I am glad I held off on purchasing the $270+tax GFCI breaker for my panel, because I found a 30 amp inline GFCI cord from this site:

http://www.hosfelt.com/contents/en-us/d702.html#p5341

I actually found this via an old thread here which said (at the time of writing) there were 5 left. This was quite a while ago so I wasn't sure if they would actually have any.

It shipped out yesterday so they do still have some in stock - I am not sure how many, but I thought I'd pass it along. It's also (wow) 16ft long.

So instead of spending over $300 after tax, I'm looking at about $50 after buying a normal 30 amp breaker!

Hi Tim,

That GFCI is discussed quite extensively around this forums. It is manufactured by Xerox and designed to protect equipment rather than people. The trip rate is 10ma rather than the 5ma which is code. The most inexpensive method for 5ma protection is creating a portable spa panel cable.
