Well if nothing else, we all know that TrickyDick is having fun this round!

Sure as hell is, lol.

I'm now done with my sours. Adding a couple locals and will see if I can find a glass tomorrow, then it should be sent out this week.

I'm surprised there haven't been any early arrivals yet.

Opened the cellar (closet) today and pulled out 90 ounces of sours that I would very much enjoy getting if I lived somewhere else. Also put my homebrewed Berliner in the pile, the flavor is top notch, but the sour isn't as strong as I would like, still very crushable though. Going to pick some more bottles up tomorrow, hopefully I can have my box ready to go this week.

Hopefully someone will be happy to get this.

That's some strong work!
Picking up my last beers on Saturday. Might get some strange stuff from Atlanta source, but the best sours they get up there aren't coming until April I'm told. Sigh...
Well, Maybe I stock up for a future trade and send out on time. I'm don't want to count on getting the CCB sour when it comes out after a few email exchanges and phone calls. Might not be sold in my town, and could have to drive an hour. In other news, I may be able to include some Bell's Hopslam in my box. Didn't realize it was difficult to get.

If you have someone who can go to CCB, I am not positive they still have them but they just released about 2 weeks ago their 5 Beers for 5 Years anniversary beers. One was a Berliner Weisse with Tangerine, and one was a Gose. Both sours, I drank the tangerine berliner last night and it was tasty. Just a thought.

Those are all sold out (five beers for five years series).

In other news, I've discovered just today, a relatively new distributor in FL that distros for Shelton Brothers, and is setup with the local shop where I buy most of my beer. This should open the door for me to get a bunch of otherwise impossible to obtain beers, at least four sour producers are available that I know of. My Atlanta contact picked up some goodies for me, and said the stuff I was really looking for will be available in April. So I think I'm just going to pack up what I've got now, and maybe wait until after spring break to see if the CCB sour is available. The good news is that I will be in Tampa for part of my break and should be able to look around at one or two stores for some of their sour beer that first Sunday in April when the ship returns to Tampa. I would look to ship that Monday if so. If I can't the CCB sour IN Tampa, the odds of getting any where I live seem pretty slim, despite my "order" at my local shop. I think they are low on the totem pole for CCB deliveries.

Had wanted to get started packing my box last night, but looks like I'll have some teaser shots on Sunday....

They had a anniversary beer release of five different beers all at once because they never did individual anniversary beers their first five years. It my understanding that at the brewery, they had sold out. There were five different ones each supposedly made by a different department within the company. Yes Cigar City =CCB. There was a tangerine Berliner weisse and a margarita gose and I forget what style the others were..

Tasting Room: Florida Weisse Ale
Reps & Marketing: Imperial Oatmeal Cream Porter
The Cellar Team: New Zealand Double India Pale Ale
The Brewing Team: American Barleywine
Packaging Team: Gose Ale

I had the Porter, Barleywine, and Florida Weisse. All great brews. I have the Gose that I'll drink this weekend. I should have taken my buddy up on getting the DIPA, supposedly it might be the best of the group.

Just sent a 25lb package somewhere that had snow this winter. Screw 60oz...

We had ice, and maybe some snowish stuff, so I'll just assume that box is for me haha.

Loving everyone blowing up the 60 ounce minimum. I know Ardyexfor killed it last time sending me six amazing sours. I'm trying to get a pretty awesome package out on Monday.

I have a feeling I'm going to regret not joining this round once the pictures start going up. Unfortunately I couldn't afford to do this big like it ought ti be, on top of my regular trading habits lately. I'll be in next round for sure though.

Wait a minute.... 60oz? Must have been thinking it was a swap-o-Rama 160oz. Hmmm.... I guess I will have to drink some to meet the 60oz requirement.

60 ounce minimum, I won't complain if you send me 160 though...

Those were only minimum "guidelines" not like the Ten Commandments. 160 is a generous amount and we thank you for beering it forward, but hey, don't feel you need to stop at 160oz if your in the spirit!

Well I was not exactly at 160oz yet close though. I was gonna make one more trip to the bottle shop today. I guess that is not needed now. I guess it's time to package them up and get them out to their new home.

You guys are all awesome in this swap! It should be one for the books. I've dropped almost $300 in Colorado in 2 days. I found some really special stuff! I'm at crooked stave right now waiting for them to open their doors.

I've never seen so many breweries make Oud Bruins! I'm loving this state.

There was one last bottle of holiday vieille a few days ago. Pick it up if it's still there.
