Know the computer fan is not pushing a lot of air, but do I need to provide fresh air into the chiller? Should I worry about creating a vacuum and wearing out fan faster?

I don't. Mine is a year old and no issues. I did find 4 gallon jugs work better. I can keep ale temps for 3 to 4 days at least and lager for 2 before swapping out with fresh frozen ones.
