has anyone attempted to use soda syrup as a fermentable sugar for beer? I thought about using Dr. Pepper syrup along with a malt extract. would that be any good?
 
Imagine what the Dr. Pepper would taste like without its sugar. Maybe think of a country wine recipe like a cherry wine base with the Dr. Pepper syrup added at after it was stabilized.
