Recently I have been paying $69.00 + $9.99 shipping for used pressurized soda kegs. It really sucks, but hey... it is worth every penny to me, as I really like the convenience.
Recently I happen upon an unpressurized keg for $20. I take the chance, get it and surprize.... it doesn't seal.
Further inspection shows that the opening appears to be mis-shaped, as I attempted to get it to seal with one of my good lids and it just leaks around it as well.
So I now have a useless soda keg, a pair of plyers, a hammer and a stubborn streak a mile long.
Thought I would consult the experts. Do I just bash it about until it conforms, or does anyone have a slightly less caveman approach that they could recommend?
Thanks, as always.
