Going to be brewing some Cranberry/Apple Ale this weekend. Recipe says to secondary for two weeks on top of a cranberry/apple/orange "relish". Doesn't specify to soak in vodka. Should it be soaked? This is my first go around with fruit in the secondary and I'm kinda paranoid!!

I have soaked my lemon and orange rinds in vodka in a baggie in the fridge for a week .... then poured the whole thing in the fermenter .....works great with a little ABV boost lol... I think you could use a camden tablet but the Vodka is going to killl any baddies !!! (I did 1/4- 1/2 cup o vodka)

Cheers and GO BEER !!!!
