I use the term kegerator loosely, here, its really just a wine chiller I took the shelves out of to make room for my keg and co2 tank.
Anyway, I moved recently and (for the first time) wasnt the one who kicked the keg. The hired help then unplugged the chiller with keg, tank and some spilt beer still inside.
I forgot about it for not quite three weeks and opened up the disaster last nightmold had hit the walls, keg, tubes and, sadly, the regulator.
I searched on here and got some good tips, bleach wipe'd the crap out of it, but Im not sure what to do about the black and white fittings for the keg (you know, that the tubes run out of) or if I'm going to have issues with mold in the regulator (it was on top of, but not inside any of the gas lines).
Im going to part with the beer tube, it had mold in it. The gas lines look clean inside but Im going to clean them anyway. I dont know how to clean the black and white fittings. Soak in a bleach solution? Just replace? No idea.
Thanks!
