So, I spotted a Cornelius sixth barrel sanke keg in the local want ads and contacted the guy. If it's still there by Monday, I'm going to make an offer slightly under his asking price, which he's indicated he might entertain. (NO POACHING, GUYS!)
I'm thinking this might be a handy thing to have when I actually start kegging because I could take my beer to places that only have sanke-type setups.
In the mean time, I figure I may be able to ferment in it. It's slightly larger than soda kegs, which I have fermented in before. I can likely squeeze a little more in one of these for the primary and then move to a corny for a seconday and aging. Already have four ball-lock cornys
What do y'all think? Am I looking at too much trouble here?
