Here's what I'm feeling:

5 lbs. British 2-Row malt
5 lbs. German Rauch malt
1/2 lb. cara-pils malt
1/2 lb. British Medium Crystal
1/2 lb. aromatic malt
1/2 lb. wheat malt
1/2 lb. German Melanoidin malt
1 oz. Chocolate malt
1 oz. Kent Goldings hops (bittering)
1 1/2 oz. Fuggles hops (flavoring)
1/2 oz. Fuggles hops (finishing)
Safale S-04 yeast

I really like smoke, so hopefully this will deliver on that. Anybody ever attempt to brew something like this? Any tips?

I find that 5% is a nice amount of smoke, obviously some breweries use 100%. I would take a good red ale recipe and then begin to replace base with weyermann smoked malt( although the briess cherrywood intrigues me). I will be brewing a helles bock in the next week or two based on this same principle. Good luck
