I am interested in smoking some fish when I get a chance to go out and catch some, but unfortunately I live in a small apartment and don't currently have the money or room for a smoker. Is there any way I could use indirect heat and wood chips on my gas grill to smoke some fish? Has anyone had any success doing this in the past?

Thanks!

Yes you can. Heat the grill one one side until the desired temp is reached, wrap some wood chips in foil, poke some holes in it, and throw it on the hot side. Not nearly as good as a kamado of smoker, but it'll do.
