I smoked up some 2 row Saturday with a little pecan wood. Maybe 1.5 hours at under 200. How much smoke smell should it have? I feel it's barely noticeable. I placed 1 lb in a aluminum pan with holes and a lid with holes. Maybe the holes were not adequate? I dunno.
