Smelled great before drying. Now smells like flowers.

So my hops smelled great before drying. After I dried them i put them in a paper bag for a couple days before I got my vacuum sealer. When i opened the bag to seal them they mostly just smelled like flowers and lost that hops smell.

Normal? Or did i do something wrong?

How did you dry them? At what temperature?
