Is there any reason these wouldn't work with a stir plate? I am about to build one and just want to make sure there is nothing wrong or missing.

I bought these with the intention to build a simple PWM controller to control a heat element. I went a different route. Other than the one being soldered both have not been used and are brand new. These cost nearly nothing on Mouser.com. So I'll be happy just to get rid of them for shipping cost.
