Hi, I have 3 separate gallons of sloe wine slowly fermenting, but very cloudy. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to clear it?
Many thanks jan

I did a batch of dandelion wine in the spring. It was very cloudy even after a couple of months in secondary. I added sparkeloid powder which did a great job of clearing it up.

Thanks for your reply. I'm trying to keep this as natural as poss. Has anyone any experience with egg whites for clearing?

I've read that Sloe berries are high in pectin. Did you add pectolase/pectic enzyme? If you didn't, it could be that the wine is hazy and slow to clear due to a pectin haze .
