skeeter pee order of operations

so, i have a batch of skeeter pee that seems to be slowing fermentation (haven't taken a gravity reading in a while, but the airlock has been pretty quiet for a couple days, taking a reading later today)
my question is: what order do i degas, add fining agents, add kmeta and sorbate.
i plan on using super kleer instead of sparkalloid, if that makes any difference.

My usual order of operation (using Sparkloid)

At the end of fermentation...
1- prep Sparkloid, measure additives, and clean carboy
2- Start racking into the clean carboy (pulling off sediment)
3- Dump in additives and Sparkloid, Use racking hose to rinse containers
4- Finish racking
5- Degas (using degassing wand+ drill) 3-4 good whips over a 10 min period.
6- Fit Airlock and let set for 2 weeks.

Since I degas by aggitaion, I pull off the sediment first. This isn't necessary if you use a vacuum. So your order can be adjusted. I'm not sure how Super Clear affects order either.

ok - bonus round:
can i vaccuum degas in a better bottle? or do i need to move it to a glass carboy to do so?

I'd expect a better bottle to collapse under pressure, and wouldn't risk it. I'd put it in to glass for vacuum degassing. Or just whip it, if you have a 'wine whip' handy.

What are you using to vaccum degass?

Personally? I have used a mighty-vac like device from Harbor Freight ... but I didn't like sitting there for hours. I saw the Wine Gas Getter and liked the idea, so I built one of my own. For right around $25 and generic stuff I had around the house (i.e.: bought but never used). Maybe $45 to reproduce it from scratch ...

But, I'm guessing you're actually referring to the individual who wants to degas with a Better Bottle ... not me. Just felt like sharing.

ended up using a wine whip. the next day, i scored a class carboy with fermometer in exchange for buying a round of bowling and a pitcher to share for a couple friends, so i may try the mity vic in the future.
