Ciao Davide,

Do you know what's the diameter of the holes in the filters? I'm trying to build something similar out of PP and I'm afraid I might drill the holes too large or too small.

Not sure what filter are you referring to (I did so many different equipments..)
currently I'm using stainless steal basket with 400micron mash

Ah, sorry, I wasn't specific enough. I was talking about the cheese mold in your first setup. I realised that it doesn't matter as long as the holes are enough in size and/or number to allow the wort to pass through.

Hello,

Curious if there is an ETA for formal new release, beyond V2.8.3RC8...

I upgraded, but am seeing defects in deg F temp sensing / conversion, HMI screen artifacts (also referenced in another thread) in the form of left over trailing characters (minor).

Additionally, I am confused about why the boil seems to be using a fixed PWM%.... I thought that would be controlled by the PID control & gain?

Yes, it is set up for correct board & I/O format, and I tried clearing EEPROM several times. Noticed that clearing EEPROM does not change saved settings, which is also concerning.

Am I missing some things here? Not complaining, just wondering about release schedule, or if I should revert versions, etc.

Thanks... Dave A.
