Decided to do an experiment so I have a single hop IPA galena in fermenter for past three weeks and I am going to move it to secondary after the hurricane and want to make a another single hop IPA which hop should I chose? Which are people's favorite hop for performing as bittering taste and aroma all at once. I plan to do this agin so multiple types of hops for suggestions are welcome.

I think Northern Brewer Hops would be interesting as the have both bittering and aroma characteristics. Maybe even add a little spruce essence to interact with the piney taste of the hops.

Simcoe. I had a single hop w/ simcoe and it was fantastic. I plan to do one myself

I really don't know much about hops, but Bell's Two Hearted Ale is an all Centennial beer. By far my favorite IPA. Founders may even make one as well, I had their Centennial IPA, but not sure if it is all Centennial.

Feel free to do an all Perle hops and let me know what you think...I have a ton of those I need to use.

On the galena I did a three gallon boil with 3 pounds DME at 90 and my hop schedule was 1oz at 90 1oz at 45 1oz at 30 and 1 oz at 1 min. And another three pounds of DME at 20 min. After all this I top off to 5 gallons. Is four oz of hops enough should I use more. I like really hoppy bitter beer. And is the hop schedule any good for utilization.

So if the two hearted ale is all centennial hop I guess I would like to do that what should I do 6 lbs of light DME with 1 oz at 90 1 oz at 45 1 oz 20 1oz at o min with steeping grains like 1/2 lbs biscuit malt and 1/2 of Vienna malt?

Chinook and Centennial are two favorites. I've made plenty of all-Chinook and all-Centennial beers and every single one has been awesome.
