Like stated in the title I made a mistake when brewing a stout last week and was wondering if anyone else has done similar? Will it greatly impact the taste? It was 2 lbs of it. Any thoughts are appreciated. Was an expensive brew in general and I'd hate to have ruined it already.
 
Well I made a similar mistake and used 5lbs of pure maple syrup. I forgot weighted ounces and Fluid ounces are to different things :/ a lot of people add a pound our two to boost abv. And most def my batch will be ruined. But that's what 5 lbs will do to 5 gallon batch.
