I am trying to get a pipeline of brews lined up. 6 in fridge 6 + in basement.

I filled a corny the other night and put 20lbs of c02 on it.
Question i have,
Now that i put c02 on it do i need to keep it refridgerated?

I threw it in my spare fridge...but i would rather turn it off and just have the beer age in the corny till i need it per say.

Thanks for yer help.

When I keg, if it goes in the fridge it needs to have CO2 connected until it is fully carbonated. That way the carbonation is equilibrated with the headspace in the keg, and you can disconnect the gas. If you just hit it with gas and refrigerate, the CO2 will absorb into the beer, headspace pressure will go to [nearly] zero, and you will lose the seal.

If my keg is going to sit at room temp, I have hit it with 30 PSI and left it at 75 F for weeks and it maintains pressure. CO2 does not want to dissolve into the beer easily at warmer temps.

Yes, BUT be careful... storing at room temp is fine just make sure its fully fermented, other wise it could keep fermenting and gain pressure and could effect taste.

cool, now that i have it in the refrigerator...I can take it out and still be o.k without the beer going bad?

thanks again
