I don't know if anyone else has a problem with fruit flies in their fermenting room like me. I made some simple fruit fly traps with a wine glass, a little cider vinegar with a drop of liquid soap in it and some plastic wrap with a few holes punched in it over the glass. In less than an hour they have literally caught hundreds of flies. I'm on the hunt now....

Cider vinegar traps are amazing. Do it a few times over the summer, especially since the wife loves to garden and it really attracts them

You can make a trap to catch them & culture acetobacter from them to make vinegar the way it was done for centuries. Here's a video about using them to collect it.
