I'm kegging for the first time and I wan't to make sure the chemicals I use will be okay for a corny. One Step/Oxyclean to clean it. Starsan to sanitize it. That's it.

Also, is there anything out there that I should absolutely avoid to clean a keg?

Bleach. Avoid bleach at all costs on stainless.

OxyClean, PBW and Starsan are all okay.

Yes, I'm with Ace. You should also pick up some food grade lube for the O rings. You can get it at your local HBS or restaurant supply.

I agree with the above two posts. You definitely need keg lube. At some point you will have a leak somewhere and it's the first step to helping condition your seals and stop the leaks.
