A friend tried to make a batch of homemade Vodka, well it turned out to be the worse 2 gallons of 145 proof garbage I have ever spit out, so I am wondering if I could use this very high octane swill to sanitize my equipment or if I should just kill some grass with it?

Use it as air-lock fluid. If it tastes awful, you probably don't want it touching equipment that is going to touch your beer.

FFS, making liquor is stupid simple, so if he managed to screw the pooch that badly, it might be loaded with methanol to boot.
